Mother nature!

Bugs will be re open this weekend as we have had a dry day yesterday and the forecast is good for Saturday and Sunday. All bookings will go ahead and we hope to see others there this weekend for a bit of fun too.

10 days and counting…..

It’s now only 10 days till Bugsboarding re opens for the season. We have been working hard improving many areas of the hill and it’s now all coming together. New features in the freestyle park including a dirt half pipe and the boardercross track has been revamped to run faster.

As well as all this there is now a new beginners/juniors mini boardercross for all to try.

Springs just around the corner…..

Hope everyone has had a good Christmas and New Year, Bugsboarding is still very wet at the moment with all this weather but will soon be back to good riding conditions.
We will be spending the whole of March getting ready for opening on the last wkend ready for the Easter school holidays.

We are now taking bookings for the full season and ready for the first school holidays in April so give us a call or drop an email to get your slot.

October Half Term

Just to remind you that Bugs will be open from Tuesday 25th through till Sunday the 30th October for half term……then we will be closing for the winter season, so come along for a last chance to ride at the centre this year.

Halloween Weekend.
As this is our last weekend we will be having a bit of fun at the centre and encourage a fancy dress Halloween themed wkend, having some fun rides and jibs.
For those staying late on the Saturday there will be fire and fire works, skate session and some tunes.

Film Festival & Cream Tea’s n Jam 7th – 9th Oct

Yes thats right we have the most relaxed 2 events on the same day to make it a full on day and evening of mountainboarding pleasure on the Saturday, things do kick off earlier on the Friday night if you can make it for then.

The BFC will be kicking things off on Saturday afternoon with a load of fun and chilled out sessions around the park and maybe a few new features to hit, its then time for the Film Festival to roll in the darkness of the evening showing all the best films made by the riders of footage from throughout the year.

Its nearly end of season for most of the centres and we really want to have a big fun time with all our friends so whatever you do remember this…….and come show yer faces….!

Last Week of School Holidays

Bugs will be open as usual this weekend and the bank holiday Monday, the following week is the last week of the school holiday opening and we will be closed on the Friday, so for your last chance to shred the hill before school starts again get in touch and book your slot with us….see you there.

On Sunday 7th August the Screwfix and Evolution Go-Kart Rally will be with us!

On Sunday 7th August the Screwfix and Evolution Go-Kart Rally will be with us!

Go-Kart Rally is a nationwide competition encouraging people to design, build and then race Go-Kart’s. There are regional heats around the country, one of which is here at Bugsboarding!

The day starts at 10.30am with team registration and Go-Kart safety checking before the times laps begin. The winners will receive great prizes including entry into the final, which is being held in Scotland on the 9th Oct.

Come along to support your local teams! It is set to be a great day out with product demonstrations and competitions plus entry is free for spectators!

Summer School Holidays

Just to let everyone know, Bugsboarding will be open for the school holidays everyday except Mondays until the end of August.

We open at 11am and close at 5pm and late on Thursday evenings. Please call or email to book your slot now.

On 7th August the centre will be closed for the Screwfix Evolution Go-Kart Rally. Everyone is welcome to come along and watch or you could even enter your own Go-Kart – go to the Screwfix website for more details or pick up entry forms at the centre.

Bugsboarding Summer Sessions

Bugs will have 2-3 new features all designed and built by Bugs and the crews involved, judged by the crews on mini comp basis, freebies, spot prizes and loads of messing about. Hopefully have a marquee and indoor skate ramp set up for the evening with tunes and fire pit as always. Focusing on fun, filming and photos! What films are made can be entered into the ATB Junkies Film Fest on the 10th/11th September at Bugsboarding with more new additions going into the park for that event so again a weekend well worth attending.
Prices are the usual £25 for the weekend riding and camping,couple of quid entry to each mini comp with money going into prize pot.

2011 Event Dates

 Bugsboarding have 2 event dates for your diaries.

Summer Sessions featuring PD,ATC,BFC and Remolition – full on freestyle session on three new features at the park. This is on the 9th/10th July and not to be missed.

We are also having our yearly ATB Junkies Film Festival, but this year a bit earlier on 10th/11th September. This is also in conjunction with the BFC Cream Tea’s and Jam , final round, so again not to be missed.
