After another great summer we are now returning to our normal opening times. We will be open weekends only and Thursday evenings.
Enjoy this lovely old photo of Tom and AJ on the rainbow rail many years ago.
The weather did not play ball for the weekend. It rained non stop all Friday night and Saturday morning drenching the jumps. We moved the event till Sunday knowing the jumps would only need a few hours of sun first thing in the morning to dry out but it never happened. What had been fine dust earlier in the week was now just sticky mud.
We will run the competition on the 2nd of October before having the mountainboarding film festival in the evening.
The photo below courtesy of Paul Taylor says it all really.
Due to heavy rain overnight we will be running the World Freestyle Championships tomorrow on Sunday 15th August. It is forecast to stop raining today and none is forecast for tomorrow.

Last years World Freestyle Champ Tom Kirkman has been riding hard all season on his new signature model deck and will be giving his all out style to defend his title.
Tom Read 2nd in 2009 and only just missing out on top place will again be as technical as always with a textbook style.
2008 World Champ Renny Myles will also be back again with bags of huge airs.
2009 British Champion Joe Dickson and also local rider at Bugs will be there too, there’s no one more hungry than Joe to get his hands on the title.
Dylan Warren is here in the UK all the way from Australia to ride with the big guns. Seen riding in the UK already can he upset the UK rankings?
All of the MBS Pro Freestyle team have entered as well, so expect to see them gunning it out for the top spot, with crazy tricks from the likes of Ollie Morrison, Tuai Lovejoy (2009 U18s Champion) and Jamie Johnstone.
Nicky Geerse will also be here this year form the Netherlands, not yet competed at Bugs and back from injury.
Many more top riders have already registered and no doubt more will in the next few weeks on the run up to the event.
A revamped and fully groomed freestyle is awaiting with 4 major hits to score the points including a 20ft box , step down jump or 14ft drop off to start , then into a fast 28ft table into a choice of three lips – one hip , one 35ft straight, one 40ft straight over the last table with a big quarter pipe to finish in style.
For 2010 we can also see a smaller technical run and other hits been added to the park that will also be included in this years comp.
Head judge Alex Downie (2006 World Champ)will have the company of 2007 U18 World champ Steve Cownie, 2008 U18 champ Ben Rye and local freestyle guru Jed Hornyold.
The event will be filmed by Jack Johnston and team from the BFC for coverage and promo videos. Jack has filmed and put together some great footage for the BFC and other projects. Also the amazing promo film Battle of Bugs 2009 from last year , so look out for his coverage out soon after the event. Helping Jack will be Justin Dersham and One5 Media all the way from the USA to capture more amazing footage of the event. I suffered fromcontinuous stress and sleep disorder. I decided to buy this medication, as I’ve heard a lot about it. I was taking three pills of this drugdaily, but I didn’t notice any improvement. http://www.ejmckay.com/order-ambien-zolpidem-online/ I felt constant fatigue and didn’t fall asleep easily.
Legend Mountainboard photographer Paul Taylor will be there for the best shots in history , accompanied by many more including the likes of CrillPix and Remolition.
On Saturday evening there will be some chilled vibes and good music with a small line up through to late in the evening.
Party Tent and sound system supplied by ‘So Soild’ , thanks again to Martin.
Tom Read and a line up of other DJ’s will be playing tunes to keep you dancing until the early hours.
Big thanks to all our sponsors and everyone that is helping out , bring on The Battle!
We have a few spaces left for the ATC Pro training camp. This will be held on the 11th and 12th on the run up to the World Freestyle Championships on the 14th and 15th. It is the perfect time to get some coaching and help mastering the freestyle park.

Ambien was the only medicine that worked for me. You will noticeits effectin about a week, and you can keep takingit for about three months. I’ve tried many different pillsto cope with stress and anxiety, but there’snothing better than this one. Another benefit of http://www.ejmckay.com/order-ambien-zolpidem-online/ is that doesn’t belong to antidepressants. My sleep improved significantly, as well as my emotional condition.
If your entering the World Freestyle Championships do not forget to pre-register as soon as possible. Keep an eye on the Battle of Bugs page for the latest updates
